Last month, my family and I attended the Higher Things youth conference in St. Louis. We just had a terrific time. My wife and I were both presenters. Here are some of the photos taken from the Higher Things website. You can click on the pictures to see them enlarged.

  3. Hey, I just wanted to say that I’d never seen St. Louis Cathedral before, and it’s absolutely beautiful. If only they could keep the “creepy guys” out. ;)

  4. Darrell, Glad your surgery went well and hope you are feeling better.

Yes, St. Louis Cathedral is incredible. For a while, we weren’t sure we were going to be permitted to use it, but the final answer was yes – but not for the eucharist. And we understood that, so that’s why we crammed everyone into the local Lutheran seminary chapel for the Supper. At the cathedral, we held daily prayer: matins, vespers, and compline.

  5. Is that the Baptismal font in the rear of the church in top (“Worship”)photo? I’m used to them being in the front. Or is something else?

  6. Anon,
Oh yes, that’s the font. Many churches place the font in the entrance of the church to symbolize that it is through baptism that we enter God’s family.
