Mike Post did a lot of great themes (including The Rockford Files, Hill Street Blues, LA Law, Black Sheep Squadron, the aforementioned Hardcastle &amp; McCormick, The Greatest American Hero, Doogie Howser M.D., The A-Team, &amp; NYPD Blue...).&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;For non-original (i.e., songs that were not recorded as themes) themes, I think my favorite might very well be that of Square Pegs, done by The Waitresses.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;-ghp</description>
